Our story
Established in 2023, Bayview Bar & Bistro was located at the Port End of vibrant Palmer Street.
Bayview fast became a local favourite for our seafood platters and versatile menu offerings.
In September 2025, we were awarded the AGFG "Reader's Choice" Award for BEST Seafood Restaurant in Townsville
UNFORTUNATELY.....
Bayview Bar & Bistro CLOSED Sunday 8th February 2026 due to the building being sold and our business having to relocate.
After almost 3 years we had to say goodbye to this chapter of our journey....but we have new plans...
We are working on a new venture...Same management, same team bringing your award winning menu faves to a NEW VENUE with a NEW NAME.

I cant believe after 20 years of fine dining all over the world, I've just had the best meal I've ever eaten here in Townsville. Cooked perfectly, wonderful service. This is now my favourite restaurant!

We ordered seafood platter for 2, OMG it was enormous and affordable with the quantity wouldn’t believe!!!
My friend and I are big eater but had to do doggy bag. It’s good to share by more ppl too as It’s got a variety of seafood you can think of.
Floor manager Leah was very accomodating and friendly, bar staffs were friendly too.
I really enjoyed with best seafood platter in tsv also service. I’ll definitely go back!!

Some of the best steaks that I have eaten. Seafood is fresh and cooked to perfection. Great staff and great service.
